Passengers and freight transportation in January-November 2021

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-November 2021, 55,7 million passengers were transported with public transport, with 10,6% more than in the similar period of 2020. The passengers turnover constituted 3180,5 million passenger-km, increasing with 44,2% compared to January-November 2020.

In January-November 2021 the railway, road, river and air transport enterprises transported 18,0 million tonnes of goods, a volume higher than that the one recorded in January-November 2020 with 17,8%. The turnover of goods totaled 4793,6 million tonnes-km, with 13,7% more compared to the corresponding period of 2020.
